Keeping with The American Legion’s vision to localize “Rolling Thunder”, in following Iowa’s Wasmer Post 241 with “Thunder on the Missouri "and the success of Carson Post 137’s “Thunder in the Columbia Gorge “, "Thunder on the Columbia" has been created by Carson Post 137 and Wenatchee Post 10.
An annual Memorial Weekend event riding in Honor of those who have gone before. Riding through towns and stopping at Posts from Northport, WA to Cape Disappointment, WA.
Yes, 772 miles of Remembrance and Americanism filling your Spirit with joy and enthusiasm!
To join in the procession, meet at one of our scheduled stops listed on the ride plan. Whether you ride a motorcycle, drive a vehicle or are a passenger join in the Spirit of Americanism for "those who've gone before"! Registration is $40 which includes the patch and year rocker. If you ride "All the Way", will receive that rocker. Net proceeds are distributed to local Veterans Homes and the Biddle Foundation.
